The Athletic:  

“We want and expect players to express their views, to express disagreements, to talk it out, and we want to educate players,” Meyer said. “If, at the end of the day, we are not 100 percent on the same page, that’s unfortunate. But that’s to be expected, and it doesn’t mean we can’t accomplish our goals. This union has always been the strongest union because it has been the most solid and the most unified at the end of the day, and I don’t expect that to ever change.”

The Athletic:  

Moreno told reporters, “The number one thing fans want is affordability. They want affordability. They want safety, and they want a good experience when they come to the ballpark. Believe it or not, winning is not in their top five.”

Brent Rooker:  

“We're not going to tolerate that [a salary cap] being implemented into our game.”

Chris Bassitt:  

“If I would tell you in 25 years, the Dodgers would be going to 10 World Series and winning seven of them, is that an issue? Because that's the Patriots. The Chiefs have been to what, six or seven? The Philadelphia Eagles have been to four or five. The parity in our sport is better that any other sport.”
